Koolau Golf Club

Nestled on the windward side of Oahu's dramatic Ko'olau Mountains below the Pali Highway, Ko'olau GC is literally carved out of dense, jungle-like foothills in the creases of the mountains. Views of cascading waterfalls, imposing peaks and rainbows dancing between valleys and ridges distract every golfer. The layout, which features several forced carries and Paspalum greens re-turfed in 2007/2008, can play exceedingly tough if concentration and proper course management is not employed. Take this bit of advice: Play this track from the Resort tees (6,406 yds., 71.0/132) or forward and see if you can lose less than two balls.
