Waimea Country Club
Yet another of the Big Island's dynamic upcountry layouts, Waimea Country Club offers 18 holes of inspiring golf within a unique microclimate. The Waipi'o Valley links-style layout features several holes bordered by stands of eucalyptus. The front nine allows drivers to be employed while the back nine screams shotmaking and shot values. Not much roll, so Waimea plays very long from the tips. The Bentgrass greens are among Hawaii's best. Don't forget to bring a jacket and a towel, as the refreshing weather can change quickly.
